Paying homage to my buggy friends ♡

Some of them are roommates.

Most of them are neighbors.

All of them are friends ♡

They have been my companions for many months.

Teaching me....

Respect

Coexistence

Fearlessness

Presence

I love them ♡

I have so many pictures of flies, it's ridiculous!

She is a great polinator and deserves gratitude.

I bow to the fly.

We often paused together.

The colors of the fly are mesmerizing. Iridescent greens and browns ♡

Our spider friend lived above our heads the whole summer and most of fall. We watched her daily as she built her web at sunset, cleaned it up at sunrise and went into her hidey hole in the roof of our gazebo for the rest of the day.

Sometimes she slept in and cleaned up later in the day. The theory is that on those days she lucked out and had a dinner.

Nature is wise and diverse and beautiful and I am grateful to be a part of her ♡
